Hastings Residents Invited for Free Electric Blanket Safety Checks by Fire Service
Hastings residents can ensure their electric blankets are safe this winter with free checks offered by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
As the colder months approach, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is encouraging Hastings residents to have their electric blankets professionally inspected—for free. Faulty electric blankets can pose serious fire risks, and regular checks are essential for safety.
The service is offering complimentary safety inspections to identify any potential issues such as frayed wiring, damaged insulation, or faulty controls. Residents can book an appointment and bring their electric blankets to designated locations for testing.
To take advantage of this initiative, residents should contact East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to find out more about dates, times, and locations for the safety checks which is available on their Facebook page
